The role involves driving EHS compliance, implementing safety programs, managing audits and incident reporting, and leading a team of EHS personnel to ensure safe and compliant facility operations. The position requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and multi-site operational coordination capabilities.Key Responsibilities\nLead and manage EHS operations across multiple IFM sites in different cities.\nSupervise and guide the site EHS team to ensure consistent implementation of safety standards and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, client requirements, and company policies.\nConduct periodic site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.\nMonitor implementation of permit-to-work systems, emergency preparedness, and safe work practices.\nReview incident reports, conduct investigations, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.\nDrive safety awareness programs, toolbox talks, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.\nMaintain EHS documentation, records, and compliance trackers across all sites.\nCoordinate with operations teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders on EHS matters.\nMonitor statutory compliance related to fire safety, electrical safety, hazardous materials, and contractor safety.\nPrepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations related to EHS performance metrics.\nSupport business continuity planning and emergency response management.\nEnsure timely closure of audit observations and non-conformities.\nTrack EHS KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nTeam Management Responsibilities\nManage and mentor a team of EHS officers/coordinators across multiple locations.\nAllocate responsibilities and monitor team performance and productivity.\nConduct regular review meetings and ensure alignment with organizational EHS objectives.\nSupport capability building and training of the EHS team.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.\nDiploma/Certification in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred.\n5-8 years of EHS experience, preferably in IFM, real estate, manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale operations.\nExperience managing multi-site EHS operations and leading teams.\nKey Skills\nEHS compliance and risk management\nMulti-site operations management\nIncident investigation and corrective action management\nTeam leadership and stakeholder management\nAudit and inspection management\nStrong analytical and reporting skills\nCommunication and training delivery skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools\nPreferred Competencies\nKnowledge of local EHS regulations and statutory compliance requirements\nExperience working in client-facing environments\nAbility to manage high-volume operational environments\nStrong coordination and problem-solving capabilities\nWorking Conditions\nFrequent travel across sites in multiple cities.\nCombination of office and field-based responsibilities.\nMay require flexibility in working hours based on operational or emergency requirements.\nKPIs\nEHS compliance score across sites\nReduction in incidents and safety violations\nAudit closure and corrective action completion rate\nTraining completion and safety awareness metrics\nTeam performance and operational responsiveness\nClient satisfaction related to EHS delivery\nLocation:\nOn-site -Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:\n48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
