Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.\nBuilding Maintenance Engineer \nPerformance of ongoing reactive & preventive work orders on building systems, HVAC systems and manufacturing line systems.\nMaintain, operate, and repair all manufacturing and building systems\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:\nPerformance of ongoing reactive & preventive work orders on building systems, HVAC systems and manufacturing line systems.\nMaintain, operate, and repair all building and manufacturing line systems including but not limited to:\nLighting\n\nEmergency generators\n\nUPS\n\nElectrical repairs, New electrical installs, Electrical repairs up to 480v, DC electrical work\n\nForklift PM's & repairs\n\nPLCs\n\nChillers\n\nDDC/pneumatics \n\nRO/DI water \n\nCooling towers\n\nAHU servicing\n\nBoilers/associated equip\n\nCompressors and associated equipment\n\nHumidity control\n\nBackflow testing/Fire Pump PMs/Steam traps/control valves/Pumps/Hydraulics\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nRespond effectively to all emergencies.\nStudy and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in everyday activities. This to include building automation systems, fire / life safety systems, and any other building related equipment.\nComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.\nMaintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.\nMust be willing and able to support any afterhours building related activity as required. \nAttend periodic training seminars\nInteracts with external and internal customers with a positive demeanor.\nWill be required to utilize Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint. \nWill be required to utilize Corrigo, JLL’s Work Order System as appropriate. \nOn call duties and overtime as required\nSteadily improve skills to achieve license/certificate status in one or more technical skill areas. \nAble to carry 50 lbs.\nProvide service for first response to equipment failures/plant down events\nWorks as a cohesive team member taking direction and training from engineering team.\nEDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent; trade school certification, formalized training; vocational training; licenses; journeyman, with core competency in a trade(s) having the ability to support listed objectives and responsibilities above are required.\nElectrical, Controls and HVAC skills and experience greatly preferred.\nFavorable customer interaction\nAbility to work independently when required.\nMinimum five years of relevant experience greatly preferred; this is a skilled level position.\nHas a strong aptitude and positive attitude for learning new skills. Candidate should be able to take direction and mentoring from the professional/leadership site team.\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
