This position combines technical expertise with strong management skills to maintain facility operations and drive continuous improvement.\nEssential Functions & Responsibilities\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, coaching, and personal development\nOversee maintenance tasks for facility infrastructure and production equipment\nDiagnose and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues in machines and equipment\nDevelop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures\nManage engineering budget and participate in overall operating budget process\nAssist in developing capital improvement plans\nSelect, schedule, and supervise contractors, monitoring their performance\nRespond effectively to emergencies and service calls\nLead technical, safety, and operational process training programs\nParticipate in client-facing and property team communications\nDemonstrate strong customer service and communication skills\nQualifications:\n7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or similar\nPeople management experience (leading a team)\nUniversal CFC EPA certification\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTrade school education, union training, military service, or college degree\nExperience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments\nKnowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and water treatment\nFamiliarity with energy management and sustainability practices\nProject management skills\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 feet tall\nPhysical capability for frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
