What this job involves:

Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification, all within the dynamic environment of JLL's Leedsoffice.

Youwill join us on a 2-to-2.5-year trainee programme, working toward Commercial Chartered Surveyor status by undertaking the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Our Leeds office offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, ideal for your professional development.

Anyone with a degree can join this programme, irrespective of discipline, as weare focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional. If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete afully fundedonline master's degree(MSc)in Real Estate withthe University of the Built Environmentas part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey.

Youwill rotate around the business with a focus on commercial propertiessuch as office spaces, industrial unitsand retail stores. Possible rotationscould include Commercial Valuation, Lease Advisory, Office Agency, Industrial Agency, Capital Markets, Rating, Property & Asset Management, Development Consultancy and Residential Valuation.

What your day-to-day will look like:

You’llget involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’llexperience:

• You’llresearch and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that may impactour work

• You’lllearn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help us determiningthe best solution for clients

• You’llbuild relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service

• You’llwork with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work, such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports.

• You’llvisit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings.

• You’lltake part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree - predicted or achieved minimum 2:2 in any discipline

• You’llhave a curious mindset so you can learn and grow with us

• You’llhave an interest in the property industry and how we can shape its future

• You’llbe able to connect with others easily and build strong relationships

• You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
