You will be responsible for leading contractor teams, enforcing Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, and driving progress to ensure on-time delivery within budget.\nKey Responsibilities\nOnsite Leadership & Execution:\nDirect and supervise all daily onsite construction activities, ensuring civil, structural, architectural (CSA), and MEP installation works align with design specifications.\nServe as the primary onsite point of contact for main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal project stakeholders.\nConduct daily site walk-throughs to monitor site progress, work sequencing, structural tolerances, and safety compliance.\nSchedule & Progress Management:\nTrack and manage detailed baseline construction schedules (6-day work week alignment).\nIdentify potential delays, bottlenecks, or site access conflicts early and implement practical recovery plans.\nCoordinate daily and weekly progress meetings with contractors to maintain milestone targets.\nEHS & Quality Assurance:\nStrictly enforce global EHS guidelines, local OSHA regulations, and site safety protocols to achieve a zero-harm site culture.\nManage inspection and test plans (ITPs), perform site QA/QC inspections, and ensure non-conformance reports (NCRs) are resolved swiftly.\nSupervise testing and pre-commissioning phases for structural components, shell & core, and utility tie-ins.\nStakeholder & Contractor Coordination:\nInterface with structural engineers, MEP consultants, project directors, and local authorities to resolve technical Queries / Requests for Information (RFIs) on site.\nOversee material deliveries, heavy lifting plans, concrete pours, and site logistics to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.\nQualifications & Requirements\nExperience: 5 to 10 years of direct, hands-on construction management experience, with a heavy emphasis on ground-up site execution.\nIndustry Domain: Data Center project experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with strong experience in relevant high-complexity fields (e.g., semiconductor fabs, heavy industrial plants, oil & gas, or complex infrastructure) will also be considered.\nOnsite Presence: Must have proven track record in 100% onsite role directing contractors and labor forces.\nWork Schedule: Must be willing and fully committed to working a 6-day work week schedule.\nEducation: Degree / Certification in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\nKey Competencies & Technical Skills\nStrong knowledge of building codes, local authority regulations (JKKP/DOSH, bomba, municipal council), and structural/MEP standards in Malaysia.\nStrong leadership, problem-solving under pressure, and conflict-resolution skills.\nFluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken) to manage local site sub-contractors and international clients effectively\nLocation:\nOn-site -Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaAt JLL, we harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to efficiently accelerate meaningful connections between candidates and opportunities.
