Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.\n,Due to expansion, we have a new role for a Data Centre Cluster Manager.\nReporting to the Account Director, you are responsible for providing leadership, management, and development of an agreed portfolio of Account based DC Facilities, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and where practicable exceeded, whilst also supporting retention and growth.\nThis includes service delivery, P&L oversight and budget management, QHSE, regulatory compliance, people and talent management, operations management, and business development.\nWhat this job involves:\nProvide leadership, coaching and guidance to a defined portfolio, to ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.\n\nIdentify and execute opportunities for the strategic development of the portfolio, to deliver increased revenue and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are renewed.\n\nEnsure optimum staffing structures operate across your region, balancing cost reduction with the delivery of service excellence and employee satisfaction.\n\nEnsure appropriate account review, audit and governance regimes exist to meet regulatory, policy and contractual commitments, and ensure all required elements of the JLL DC Business model are met\n\nAttend sites within the portfolio regularly and deputise for the Account Director when necessary.\n\nEnsure a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained at various levels , including formal weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews.\n\nSupport the sales process through solution development, participation in presentations and consultation meetings, and hosting visits as necessary.\n\nWork with other operational leaders to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective teamworking, and a culture in keeping with the company’s purpose, vision and pillars.\n\nSupport effective business communication internally and externally, with clients, JLL team members, supplier partners, tenants, and all other business stakeholders.\n\nSupport People Engagement and promote and maintain JLL culture throughout account.\n\nPeople:\nFoster a learning environment, with appropriate training and development planning across all accounts.\n\nEnsure training needs are delivered; employees are fully competent to undertake their roles and can reach their full future potential. Take direct responsibility for the appointment and integration of new Site Delivery Managers.\n\nProvide leadership, guidance, coaching and direct support, where required, to deliver service excellence and high levels of employee engagement and ensure effective performance management is in place.\n\nEnsure effective succession planning is completed across accounts and specifically for the account leader level.\n\nFinance/Commercial:\nResponsibility for Operational Budgets, including the development of account financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, management of WIP, debt, cost control, and growth, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded for accounts in assigned portfolio.\n\nEnsure business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented across accounts.\n\nDrive effective commercial and financial governance with through accurate reporting, and appropriate checks and balances.\n\nReview purchase orders to ensure financial, contractual, and commercial accuracies.\n\nSupport account leaders with supply chain management, including supplier performance reviews, supplier negotiations and re-bidding, and the identification of additional scope opportunities.\n\nLead sustainable growth of current portfolio - maximizing extra works and project opportunities on existing accounts.\n\nQHSE:\nEnsure the provision of a healthy and safe working environment across the portfolio.\n\nMaintain both client and JLL health and safety policy and process, ensuring this is effectively implemented across all service lines, self-perform and vendor delivered.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nProvides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.\n\nApproves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination.\n\nEffectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval.\n\nPlans and monitors appropriate staffing levels, productivity and correct utilisation of labour, including overtime.\n\nPrepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff.\n\nMentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.\n\nLeads by example and models leadership behaviours that are consistent with JLL values.\n\nThis is not a comprehensive list of job requirements; additional tasks may be included.\nSound like you? Before you apply it is worth knowing what we are looking for:\nEngineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience\n\nMinimum of 5 years data centre operations experience related to FM service delivery.\n\nPrior experience working with mission critical programs, procedures, and DCIM/MCIM/CMMS systems.\n\nPrevious Financial Budget / P&L management experience required.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook\n\nAbility to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business documents and respond effectively to sensitive issues.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information.\n\nAbility to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.\n\nStrong organisational and analytical skills.\n\nMust be flexible to work outside core office hours from time to time to meet tight deadlines as set by customers.\n\nThis role will require travel on occasions, to other work locations for team meetings, site visits or to attend conferences and events.\n\nLocation:\nOn-site -Slough, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
