Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, and technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, we empower you to shape a brighter way forward so you can thrive professionally and personally.\nYou will be able to demonstrate the following on a consistent basis:\nClient-focused with excellent and effective communication skills\nAnalyze risks and offer solutions and mitigating actions\nActively collaborate and manage client stakeholders, contractors and other vendors\nEnvironmental, Sustainability and Health and Safety focused\nContinuous improvement mindset\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the client's agent, consultant, advisor, and authorized representative through all phases of design and construction-related aspects of data center projects\nWork with client's stakeholder groups and third party consultants, design consultants, construction management firms, and construction contractors to administer the design on behalf of our client\nCoordinate, clarify, and track design packages with Client and Client's third-party contractors\nManage and coordinate design efforts for bundle domestic and international projects\nManage escalation of design issues to resolution\nSupport contract negotiation with Client's third party contractors, in alignment with Client's project manager and legal counsel\nDraft and coordinate design contracts and amendments for site development, data center design, construction administration, peer review, and additional scope requirements\nDevelop comprehensive design project plans including kickoff documentation, baseline scope, schedules, budgets, risk logs, team rosters, and change management protocols\nMaintain design trackers, review checklists, comment trackers, and decision logs throughout project lifecycle\nConduct constructability reviews and value engineering assessments at key milestones\nProduce monthly design reports and meeting minutes during design phase, and monthly CA/SDC reports during construction administration\nCoordinate cost estimates with stakeholders and third-party contractors for scope gaps and changes\nEnsure design QA/QC performance and report issues to client\nOversee invoice processing, payment application tracking, and reporting\nNegotiate, resolve, and close outstanding change orders, quality issues, or disputes\nSupport program travel and general management activities\nEducation and experience:\nWhat we're looking for is a technical candidate with at least 5 years' experience in data center project management. A post-graduate degree in Architecture,engineering or business is also a big plus. You will be experienced in managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders and priorities with various milestones. You will be detailed orientated and organized in your approach to project management.\nUndeniably superior soft skills:\nAs a Data Center Design Project Manager, you'll demonstrate your expertise in interacting with a wide range of clients and stakeholders - that's why impeccable people skills will be essential. Likewise, you must show your aptitude in developing improvement initiatives and continuous improvements. You must also display flexibility in managing daily activities using various systems and coordinating complex technical deliverables.\nRequirements:\nBachelor Degree from an accredited institution. Preference towards a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management\nFamiliar with data center design standards and local statutory submissions and approvals process\nAt least 5 years as a Project Manager, Design Manager or similar role in data center or critical facilities projects\nAbility to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals\nStrong working knowledge of technical drawings, single line diagrams, and data center infrastructure systems\nHighly organized with strong analytical skills and experience managing complex design documentation\nStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.)\nAbility to manage all aspects of data center design and construction projects effectively and efficiently including budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders\nExperience managing domestic and international project portfolios\nExtensive knowledge of Google Workspace, Google Docs and Google Drive\nExperience with design review processes, constructability assessments, and value engineering methodologies\nWhat we can do for you:\nAt JLL, we make sure that you become the best version of yourself by helping you realise your full potential in an entrepreneurial and inclusive work environment.
