Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.\nAbout the role:\nWe are looking for a Document Controller, who will manage project documentation on site for the PMC team, so that all drawings, submittals, correspondence and records are controlled, traceable and current for the Client, Contractor and wider project team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperate and maintain the project's document control system and the common data environment (CDE), applying agreed naming conventions, metadata and revision control.\nReceive, log, distribute and track drawings, specifications, RFIs, material and technical submittals, transmittals, NCRs, site instructions and variation documentation.\nMonitor review and response timelines, and chase overdue items with the Contractor, Designers and PMC reviewers.\nMaintain up-to-date registers (drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, meeting minutes, action logs) and issue regular status reports.\nEnsure only current approved revisions are in use on site, and withdraw superseded documents.\nSupport the PMC team in preparing and distributing meeting minutes, progress reports and handover documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts, test and commissioning records).\nSupport audits and QA/QC reviews by keeping records complete, auditable and retrievable.\nHandle project information in line with confidentiality and information classification requirements.\nRequirements:\nDiploma or degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.\n5 to 10 years' document control experience on construction or infrastructure projects, ideally with a PMC or consultancy.\nExperience with a CDE or EDMS platform (e.g. Oracle, Unifier, Aconex, Procore, SharePoint or similar).\nStrong working knowledge of construction documentation workflows (submittals, RFIs, transmittals, as-builts).\nProficient in MS Office, especially Excel.\nExcellent attention to detail, organization and written English.\nLocation:\nOn-site -Dubai, AREIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
