Achieve your ambitions - join us at JLL!\nRole Purpose\nTo demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental issues, ensuring that the JLL HSSE Management System and Standards are applied across areas of responsibility;\nTo ensure alignment and compliance with all client HSSE policies and practice;\nTo facilitate the delivery and management of HSSE, supporting staff to achieve compliance and performance reporting against all JLL & client-set HSSE metrics and KPI’s;\nTo support a programme for training, audit, measurement and reporting HSSE performance against agreed standards;\nTo promote a positive, proactive HSSE culture and to influence stakeholders;\nTo implement practical risk management strategies.\nWhat this job involves\nThe successful candidate will be required to:\nProvide guidance and advice on health and safety risk management at all levels of the Accounts.\nSecure the development of a positive, proactive HSSE culture at all levels throughout the Accounts.\nSupport IFM’s goals of achieving/maintaining ISO14001 & OHSAS18001/ISO45001 Standards.\nSupport work teams, to secure operational HSSE compliance, including providing support for HSSE audits and inspections as required.\nEstablish effective relationships and work closely and co-operatively with senior managers, Account teams, the client and contractors.\nDeliver an HSSE training programme based on the JLL HSSE training model.\nKeep abreast of legislation advice and to alert the account to such changes that will impact on the business.\nAs directed, produce and update policy proposals and procedural amendments as required reflecting changes in legislation, best practice or advice.\nSupport staff with the completion of HSSE risk assessments and the identification of appropriate control solutions.\nAssist with investigations into specific incidents or accidents with a health & safety and/or environmental consequence and ensure appropriate records are maintained.\nCoordinate the implementation of HSSE monitoring procedures that ensure the timely internal management reporting of performance.\nProvide guidance to staff on how to obtain competent assessments of all health & safety and/or environmental risk and report on the control of that risk.\nAnalyse the results of the site audits and make regular reports to line management on HSSE risk management performance.\nIdentify, organise and attend appropriate HSSE communication forums.\nAssist the Supply Chain Management and Procurement (SCMP) team in approving and monitoring JLL Contractors.\nLiaise with HSSE specialists elsewhere in JLL to ensure common standards of HSSE best practice are achieved throughout the company’s world-wide business.\nMeet operational objectives as specified by the relevant business leaders.\nMeet personal objectives as stipulated within JLL’s Individual Performance Management Process.\nHave a pragmatic and cost effective approach to HSSE management.\nIdentify conclusions or approaches to problems including strengths and weaknesses of existing systems and alternative solutions\nIdentify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.\nAny other duties deemed appropriate to the role as determined by the Heads of HSSE and/or or the Account Directors.\nKey Relationships or interfaces will include:\nDirect reporting to the Account Director and Account HSSE Director\nClient representatives, globally and locally\nJLL’s Account Leadership\nJLL employees on the Accounts\nJLL’s HSSE Management team\nEvery day is different, and in all these activities, we’d encourage you to show your ingenuity.\nSound like you?
