Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.\nJob Title\nEngineering / Technical Executive - Global Facilities Command Center Operations\nJob Summary\nThe Engineering / Technical Executive will support the day-to-day operations of the Global Facilities Command Center by managing incidents, service requests, remote monitoring activities, work permit coordination, and operational reporting across multiple locations.\nThis role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused professional who can work in a fast-paced environment, ensure SLA compliance, coordinate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, and maintain accurate operational records and reports.\nThe position is operationally critical and requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while supporting engineering and facilities services on a global scale.\nKey Responsibilities:\n1. Incident Management\nMonitor, log, and manage incidents and work orders for critical systems through the designated incident management platform.\nEnsure all incidents are acknowledged, updated, and followed up within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nTrack open incidents closely and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.\nEscalate critical or unresolved incidents in line with defined escalation protocols.\nEnsure timely notification and effective communication is shared with all relevant stakeholders.\nPrepare post-incident reports for business-impacting incidents, including detailed root cause analysis.\n2. Facilities Helpdesk Operations\nReceive, log, and manage facilities-related service requests through D365, CFS, or other designated helpdesk tools.\nEnsure requests are recorded accurately with complete details for effective processing.\nClassify and assign requests according to priority, severity, and service hierarchy.\nCoordinate with engineering, facilities, and support teams to ensure timely action and closure of requests.\nFollow up with requestors and service providers to confirm completion and service satisfaction.\nTrack recurring issues and support management with operational analysis and service improvement inputs.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly helpdesk performance reports.\nContribute to management reports and client-facing operational summaries as required.\n3. Remote Monitoring Operations\nRemotely monitor email, voice, and system-generated alarms for critical engineering and facilities systems.\nMonitor Kode Lab or other building monitoring platforms for alarms, alerts, and faults across remote sites.\nRecord alarms and faults accurately on a shift basis.\nEscalate alarms, abnormalities, or potential failures to stakeholders in accordance with SLA and escalation procedures.\nMaintain complete monitoring logs and incident records for shift handover and audit purposes.\nCompile and share alarm and fault trend reports with stakeholders on a periodic basis, including monthly reporting.\n4. Work Permit Coordination\nPrepare and circulate weekday and weekend work permit reports within defined timelines.\nRecord and track work permit status communications accurately.\nPrepare end-of-work reports for weekday and weekend activities in accordance with SLA requirements.\nMaintain proper documentation of planned work activities, permit status, and completion updates.\nCompile monthly work permit summaries and circulate them to relevant stakeholders.\n5. Reporting and Documentation\nPrepare and share end-of-shift duty logs with internal teams.\nPrepare weekly histograms, dashboards, and summary reports for internal stakeholders and clients.\nGenerate daily alarm and fault reports for critical monitoring systems.\nPrepare weekly incident performance reports for management review.\nPrepare monthly management reports covering incidents, service requests, alarms, trends, escalations, and operational performance.\nSupport ad hoc reporting requirements as requested by management or clients.\nMaintain accurate and complete operational documentation for audit, governance, and service review purposes.\nCandidate Profile:\nWe are looking for a proactive and dependable professional with strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a command center or helpdesk environment and capable of supporting critical operations with accuracy and urgency.\nMinimum Requirements:\nEducation\nDiploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Technical Operations, or a related discipline preferred.\nExperience\nRelevant experience in engineering operations, technical helpdesk, facilities helpdesk, command center operations, incident management, or remote monitoring environment.\nExperience working with ticketing systems, helpdesk tools, monitoring platforms, or incident management software will be an advantage.\nExposure to facilities operations, engineering services, building systems, or critical environment support is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nWorking knowledge of incident management systems, helpdesk tools, and monitoring applications.\nFamiliarity with D365, CFS, Kode Labs, or similar operational platforms is desirable.\nGood proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nAbility to prepare accurate reports, trackers, and operational summaries.\nCore Competencies\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.\nExcellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English.\nGood stakeholder coordination and follow-up capability.\nAbility to work collaboratively with engineering, facilities, vendors, and internal support teams.\nCustomer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.\nAbility to respond calmly and effectively during critical incidents.\nWork Schedule and Availability Requirements:\nCandidates applying for this role must be willing and able to meet the following operational requirements:\nRotational shift work is mandatory\nMust be willing to work on weekdays, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business requirements\nMust be open to weekday week-offs instead of standard weekend offs\nThis is a 6-days-a-week operational role\nCandidates should be comfortable working in a 24x7 support environment\nFlexibility to work extended hours or additional shifts during critical operational situations is required\nPreferred Candidate Attributes\nExperience in a Global Facilities Command Center, Helpdesk, or similar operations center environment\nUnderstanding of SLA-driven service delivery\nAbility to manage multiple open tasks simultaneously without compromising quality\nStrong escalation management and stakeholder communication skills\nTeam-oriented attitude with a collaborative and professional approach\nAbility to identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvement initiatives\nWhy This Role Matters\nThis position plays an important role in ensuring continuity, responsiveness, and service excellence across global engineering and facilities operations.
