The position must ensure the highest level of professionalism, while meeting the Client’s needs, and a commitment to achieving agreed objectives throughout the engineering team. Responsible for protecting and improving the value of the Client’s assets and ensuring that building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function. Lead several teams being managed by a Chief Engineer for each service specialty, such as HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical/Fleet Maintenance and repair, along with others added through scope changes agreed to with the Client.\nActive and direct daily leadership of the Engineering Team:\nLead the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, primary switch gear), cabling (data and voice, broad band), lighting and temperature controls systems, critical environments, light construction (painting, doors, relites, locks), digital systems (fire alarm, duress, card access, radionics, CCTV), and automobile/cart/light industrial truck maintenance/repair. Utilize outside vendors in addition to JLL team members.\nSupervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, trade and position specific training and personal development.\nIdentify the maintenance objectives of the facility and incorporate those objectives into a documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance procedures with the Hard Services Lead and Account Director.\nIdentify safety hazards within the building and incorporate the remediation of such hazards to ensure that the building’s staff and occupants work in a safe environment. Implement, administer, and manage safety training program.\nAssist in the development of a Capital plan which would include planning for infra-structure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications to ensure the building’s future capabilities are maintained.\nAssist Hard Services Lead with documentation of changes to infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building including up-to-date building drawings and single lines as well as documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law.\nReview activities of contractors working within the Site.\nKeep records of buildings rounds and readings, all engineering logs, and engineering data sheets.\nProvide advanced training and notification to all contractors so that they are informed and knowledgeable with respects to the building’s critical functions and the work they are to perform, including an incident contact response list.\nPerform additional job duties as requested.\nVerify the accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description where parts are requested for maintenance activities.\nRecord and review readings to demonstrate to team members/perform adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.\nComply with Client and JLL policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean and safe workplace\nPerform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory\nWhat this job involves:\nKey member and leader of Engineering Services at a Site with a variety of buildings\nProvide experienced advice for Chief Engineers supervising a wide range of unique challenges\nNuclear activities environment requires additional training, knowledge, and problem solving within the parameters of a variety of jurisdictions\nWork closely with the Hard Services Lead, Soft Services Lead, and Integrated Facilities Manager with main responsibility to manage workflows for Corrigo system Work Orders and scope from Client\nWhat your day-to-day will look like:\nCorrigo Work Orders determine staffing, service offering, and schedule for Chief Engineers. You will collaborate closely with them for any issues, outages, or concerns.\nAudit of Corrigo Work Orders and other tasking will be daily in a variety of service areas\nCollaboration with Lead Team for staffing, training, and qualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBS/BA in Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, other related field\nHave a minimum of 5 years of applicable working experience in building repair and maintenance, plumbing, and electrical.\nAbility to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions, and take corrective action as required\nStrong Computer skills using applications such as Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), sourcing/ordering/receiving systems, along with Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and others.\nCommunicate effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates, in writing or during verbal interactions.\nStrong Customer Service skills\nStrong People skills\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds\nMust be able to climb up to 30 ft ladders\nPosition requires daily and frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving\nPossess and maintain a valid state driver’s license\nMust pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process\nMust be a citizen of the United States of America, or have appropriate permission and/or Visa to work in the United States of America\nMust not have a disqualifying criminal event or record\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
