The primary goal is to deliver safe, reliable, comfortable, and energy-efficient operational environments for all facility occupants. This position spans mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building automation systems (BAS), balancing proactive preventive maintenance with swift corrective actions.\nWorking in partnership with property management, internal engineering teams, and service contractors, the Facilities Engineer ensures high standards of building uptime and performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintenance & Technical Operations\nPerform regular preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs across HVAC units, electrical systems, plumbing infrastructure, and mechanical equipment per scheduled protocols.\nDiagnose equipment failures, respond to system alarms, and resolve occupant service requests promptly.\nCoordinate work with external specialized vendors and maintenance contractors when external technical expertise is required.\nBuilding Systems & Automation\nMonitor building automation systems (BAS) and energy platforms, adjusting setpoints and operating controls to balance occupant comfort with energy performance.\nConduct structured routine inspections across mechanical rooms, roof decks, and operational floors to identify early operational risks.\nMaintain comprehensive records of repairs, maintenance logs, and asset histories using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nProject Support & Compliance\nSupport minor capital improvement projects, equipment modernizations, and facility retrofits, helping coordinate service shutdowns with minimal impact on operations.\nEnsure strict compliance with local building codes, environmental guidelines, and OSHA safety standards.\nParticipate in emergency response efforts, providing technical expertise to mitigate building issues during after-hours events.\nCore Competencies & Technical Scope\nTechnical Focus\nOperational Scope\nKey Platforms & Tools\nHVAC & Mechanical\nPreventive service, refrigerant handling, air handlers, chillers, and pumps\nSystem Monitoring\nElectrical Infrastructure\nPower distribution, switchgears, emergency backup generators, lighting automation\nSingle-line diagrams, electrical schematics\nBuilding Controls\nControl loop adjustments, schedule modifications, temperature and alarm tracking\nTridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar BAS platforms\nOperations Management\nWork order execution, asset lifecycle tracking, maintenance reporting\nEnterprise CMMS platforms\nCandidate Qualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.\nLicensure: Registered Electrical Engineer.\nExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or commercial facility operations.\nTechnical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, paired with the ability to read technical schematics and blueprints.\nSystems Exposure: Direct experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS platforms.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTrade licenses or certifications (HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, or boiler operator).\nExperience operating within Class A commercial office buildings or corporate campuses.\nKnowledge of LEED standards, energy conservation practices, and OSHA safety standards.\nLocation:\nOn-site -Muntinlupa, PhilippinesIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
