Achieve your ambitions - join us at JLL!\nWhat your day-to-day will look like:\nNegotiate and determine best price with vendors.\nProvide quotes to finance.\nTrack vendor performance and ongoing service to determine best resources for our department.\nUse the maintenance system to maintain tracking and data integrity.\nAct as point of contact for all questions or issues concerning vender repairs.\nTrack and file all information including invoices, payment statements, documentation reflecting all invoices and payments made for our partners and vendors.\nSend equipment out for repair and calibration as required.\nRespond effectively to all emergencies.\nComply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.\nMaintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.\nComplies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.\nParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs\nMaintains a clean and safe work environment.\nDocuments work performance and materials procurement as directed.\nAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED required.\n+3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience\n+3 years in carpentry, sheet metal work, and general building maintenance techniques\nStrong understanding of the equipment and maintenance supplies required in all aspects of the maintenance and facilities department.\nValid driver's license\nPhysical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, operate power tools, and perform overhead work\nAble to work on roofs of buildings\nCompletion of written documentation\nSubject to call 24 hours per day and required to work in all weather conditions\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems\nMust be proficient in basic computer skills (spread sheets, reports)\nKnowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service orientation\nConflict resolution skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams\nLocation:\nOnsite - East Syracuse, NY\nAt JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
