This role serves as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters and coordinates vendor relationships, building systems, space planning, and compliance activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperations & Maintenance\nOversee daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and building security\nDevelop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of building systems and equipment\nCoordinate emergency repairs and respond to facility-related issues promptly\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment inventory\nVendor & Contract Management\nSource, negotiate, and manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and vendors\nOversee janitorial services, landscaping, security, and other outsourced facility services\nReview and approve invoices, ensuring services meet quality standards and budget parameters\nConduct regular vendor performance reviews\nSpace Planning & Workplace Services\nManage space allocation and office moves, adds, and changes\nSupport workplace initiatives to optimize space utilization and employee experience\nOversee conference room management, mail services, and reception operations\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including building codes, environmental standards\nPerform regular facility inspections and safety audits\nManage incident reporting related to facility issues\nBudget & Financial Management\nDevelop and manage annual facility operating budgets\nTrack expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and forecast future needs\nPrepare financial reports and present recommendations to leadership\nProject Management\nPlan and execute facility improvement projects including renovations, upgrades. \nCoordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams\nEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience\n5-7 years of progressive facility management experience in corporate environments\nExperience managing multi-floor office buildings preferred\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of building systems, operations, and maintenance best practices\nFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems \nUnderstanding of environmental sustainability practices and energy management\nProfessional Competencies\nExcellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills\nStrong vendor negotiation and contract management capabilities\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills with all organizational levels\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nLeadership skills with ability to supervise internal teams and external vendors\nLocation:\nOn-site -Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:\n48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
