The Facility Supervisor manages day-to-day facility operations, coordinates project work assigned by Facilities Managers, and ensures smooth site operations through regular inspections, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution. This role serves as the on-site operational leader maintaining communication with building occupants, conducting safety tours, managing budgets, and implementing standard operating procedures to ensure facility services meet specifications and operational standards.\nYour day-to-day tasks will include:\nSupervise and manage JLL maintenance technicians, mobile equipment technicians, housekeeping personnel, and vendor contracts to ensure operational excellence and service delivery\nConduct regular facility inspections, safety tours, and equipment checks to evaluate physical conditions, ensure proper operation, and verify work meets specifications and established standards\nPlan, schedule, and coordinate work assignments for subordinate supervisors and teams while conducting regular briefings and de-briefings to maintain operational awareness\nInvestigate, plan, manage, and implement facility projects assigned by Site Managers while communicating project status to building occupants and ensuring timely, satisfactory completion\nManage vendor relationships through regular meetings, resolve site-related issues, monitor cleaning activities per SOPs, and ensure closure of service and equipment complaints with corrective action\nMaintain required records including work hours, budgets, inventory of consumable stock, and site reports while performing financial tasks and managing operational budgets\nProvide on-site coverage during weekend production as required, assist with Manager coverage for training and vacation, and address operational issues to ensure continuous facility operations\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nMust be available to work 2nd shift hours\nRequired to conduct frequent facility rounds and physical inspections of building conditions\nMust be able to inspect equipment and verify it is in working order\nOn-site coverage required during weekend production schedules as needed\nMust be capable of conducting walking tours throughout facilities for safety and operational assessments\nWork environment includes both indoor facility spaces and outdoor grounds areas\nMust be available for extended hours to provide managerial coverage as required\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience supporting real estate or facilities services\n3-5 years of sourcing and contract management experience\nStrong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with building occupants, staff, and vendors\nExcellent PC skills with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nProven ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nStrong analytical ability with demonstrated problem-solving skills for operational issues\nAbility to ensure discipline, proper attire, and etiquette standards in subordinate staff\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSeven or more years of experience in sourcing and contract management\nExperience managing housekeeping operations including inspections, supply ordering, and out-of-scope projects\nKnowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facility management and ability to implement them effectively\nExperience conducting training programs on a regular basis for facility and housekeeping staff\nStrong organizational skills with ability to maintain inventory systems and prepare operational reports\nExcellent interpersonal skills with experience in vendor management and resolution of service-related issues\nAbility to recommend changes that improve services and increase operational efficiency through financial analysis and budget management\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
