This role involves managing physical security measures, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures across all company facilities.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the safety and protection of company assets, employees, and visitors\nManage and coordinate the security team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management\nOversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems\nConduct regular security risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate identified risks\nDevelop and maintain emergency response and business continuity plans\nInvestigate security incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions\nLiaise with law enforcement agencies and other external security partners as needed\nManage the security budget, including resource allocation and equipment procurement\nEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security and safety\nCoordinate with other departments (HR, Legal, IT) to address security-related issues and concerns\nDevelop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees\nMonitor and analyze security trends to proactively address potential threats\nOversee the issuance and management of employee access cards and visitor passes\nConduct periodic security audits and implement improvements based on findings\nManage relationships with external security vendors and service providers\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field\n7+ years of experience in security management, preferably in a corporate environment\nStrong knowledge of physical security systems, practices, and technologies\nExperience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures\nFamiliarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., OSHA)\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nExperience managing budgets and resources effectively\nProficiency in security management software and reporting tools\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion\nExcellent organizational and multitasking skills\nRelevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) preferred\nKnowledge of emergency management and business continuity planning\nAbility to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed\nLocation:\nOn-site -Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:\n48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
