Jones Lang LaSalle, which trades as JLL, is a commercial real estate services and investment management firm whose oldest predecessor was founded in London in 1783. It advises occupiers and owners on leasing, capital markets transactions, valuation, workplace strategy and project delivery, and manages billions of square feet of property and facilities on their behalf. Headquartered in Chicago and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it operates in more than eighty countries and runs LaSalle Investment Management as its real estate investment arm.

JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.

Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.

JLL's Value & Risk Advisory business is investing in its future talent pipeline through developing a global development program. As L&D Manager, you will be the architect and driver of this initiative, helping the business to define career pathways, designing learning experiences, and building the competency frameworks that will prepare our talent valuers to become the technical experts and commercial leaders of tomorrow.

Why JLL

At JLL, you'll help shape how work gets done, for our people, our clients, and the industry we lead. AI is changing careers faster than ever, and we're building a skills-first path through that change, not just reacting to it. Our Learning & Development team sits at the center of that shift: we're the team JLL is counting on to help thousands of employees adapt, grow, and thrive over the next few years. If you've already made AI-enabled tools part of how you design and deliver learning, you'll fit right in here, we see AI as an amplifier for what you bring, not a replacement for it. This is a chance to do career-defining L&D work, build skills that stay relevant as the future of work keeps changing, and help JLL's people move forward with confidence through intentional and strategic upskilling and reskilling initiatives.

You'll bring agility and resilience, comfort moving with change rather than waiting for it to settle. You're AI- and digital-literate, and you've already put AI-enabled tools to work in how you design and deliver learning. You think critically and analytically, and you know how to turn that thinking into a case others can act on. You collaborate naturally, influence without needing formal authority, consult rather than dictate, and you know how to drive change through people, not just process.

Why this role matters:

  • JLL's Value & Risk Advisory business is growing rapidly, creating demand for valuers who can operate across asset classes and geographies with consistent technical excellence. Your work will directly influence talent retention, speed-to-productivity, and commercial outcomes

  • Current careers development is fragmented across countries. You'll create the unified global framework

  • This role directly impacts talent retention, speed-to-productivity, and commercial outcomes by ensuring our valuers develop the right skills at the right time

  • You'll define the career roadmap for hundreds of valuers globally, creating clarity on how to progress from graduate hire to senior professional

  • Direct collaboration with executives, regional heads, business leaders, challenger groups, HR and operations partners across three continents

The ideal candidate will:

  • Bring a track record of success in structured environments and seek the opportunity to create a new program where they'll have substantial ownership and direct engagement with senior leadership

  • Combine strong operational, project management and L&D design capabilities with strategic thinking and stakeholder management across multiple geographies

  • Have a keen understanding of the Value and Risk Advisory roles and business to make recommendations on content and curriculum building that are relevant and suitable to the global business

  • Have at least 5 years of experience working in a global, matrixed environment, delivering large L&D programs and driving positive outcomes for the business

Role Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building (Primary Focus)

  • Build and lead a governance structure that connects you directly with business leaders (executives, COOs, regional heads) who are invested in this program's success

  • Maintain continuous dialogue with executive leadership, regional partners, and key influencers to drive engagement and adoption of the Value & Risk Advisory track across all geographies

  • Connect regularly with stakeholders to gain insights into their unique requirements and expectations, ensuring the program adapts to diverse regional contexts while maintaining a cohesive global framework

  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders (executives, COOs, producers, HR partners) to ensure global alignment, adoption, and completion of program objectives in all regions, and to ensure program adoption, participation, completion of objectives, and to gather actionable feedback for continuous improvement

  • Own change management requirements related to the program and collaborate with the Communications team to craft messaging that resonates with diverse audiences

  • Foster an environment of collaboration and partnership that secures organizational support, funding, and resources for program enhancements and expansion

Program Development

  • Work with stakeholders to create a long-term vision and plan for the program that aligns with company strategy

  • Proactively identify future skill requirements and industry trends, ensuring the program evolves ahead of business demands

  • Design curriculum that equips valuers with professional judgement, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic skills needed to become high-performing producers

  • Ensure the training curriculum reflects industry best practices, market demands, and emerging trends

  • Create frameworks, design learning experiences, and develop engaging training materials yourself and with the help of our design team, this is not a vendor management or oversight role

  • Work with the broader L&D team to develop training materials, resources, and activities that cater to different learning styles and achieve program outcomes

  • Ensure the training program prepares analysts for a smooth transition into production roles, supporting the goal of moving analysts into production faster

Program Management

  • Coordinate initial regional rollout (EMEA), followed by global deployment of standard career and learning pathways across Value & Risk Advisory

  • Develop project plans, monitor progress, and address deviations, ensuring programs launch on time and to stakeholder expectations

Data-Driven Decision Making and Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop evaluation methods and criteria to assess program effectiveness and business impact

  • Implement systems to monitor participant feedback, performance metrics, and career progression outcomes

  • Continuously assess program impact, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies that enhance outcomes and alignment with business objectives

  • Regularly report program metrics and insights to stakeholders, showcasing achievements, and making recommendations for further development

Strategic Partnerships and Talent Pipeline Development:

  • Work with our Early Careers Talent Acquisition team to foster strategic partnerships with external organizations, universities, industry associations, and thought leaders to enhance the Value & Risk Advisory program and tap into diverse talent pools.

Essential requirements:
