In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical building systems, equipment, and physical assets to ensure seamless operations and support our client's business objectives. Working under the direction of the Facility and Operations Managers, you will play a key role in preserving the integrity and performance of refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and mechanical systems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a structured, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, safety, planning, and documentation-directly contributing to JLL's commitment to delivering world-class facilities management services.\nWhat your day-to-day will look like:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment, heat exchangers, HVAC systems, electrical systems, hot water systems, pumps, valves, piping, and filters\nMonitor the operation of building systems and make pre-emptive adjustments to ensure optimal performance and prevent equipment failures\nUse computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, manage facilities equipment, order parts, and coordinate maintenance activities\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including infrastructure systems and other applicable equipment\nParticipate in special projects and scheduled maintenance shutdowns as needed\nProvide flexible support for off-shift and on-call duties to ensure continuous facility operations\nMaintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and communicate effectively with team members and management\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nMinimum of 2+ years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work from heights\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including off-shift and on-call support as needed\nBasic computer literacy, including the ability to use email and learn proprietary or specialized maintenance software (training provided)\nValid driver's license\nPreferred Qualifications:\nUniversal Refrigerant License (EPA 608 Universal Certification)\nStrong electrical and facilities maintenance experience\nExperience with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems\nProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals\nLocation: Sterling Heights, MI\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
