This role focuses on protecting and improving the value of client assets through reliability-based maintenance practices and continuous enhancement of maintenance procedures to maximize system performance.\nYou'll work across multiple building systems including fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, temperature controls, and critical environments. The position requires expertise in troubleshooting mechanical equipment, managing alarm conditions, and implementing maintenance plans that incorporate preventive, corrective, and reliability procedures while ensuring full regulatory compliance.\nWhat your day-to-day will look like\nOperate and maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and temperature controls\nRespond to and mitigate alarm conditions, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions\nTroubleshoot mechanical equipment, drives, and actuators using Building Automation System (BAS) tools and OEM standards\nPerform maintenance and repairs on steam systems, humidifiers, and steam traps\nRespond to O2 and CO2 sensor alarms and complete necessary repairs/replacements\nConduct building rounds and maintain engineering logs and data sheets\nUse Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work planning and documentation\nDevelop estimates and present proposals to site leadership\nEscort and monitor outside contractors to ensure quality and safety practices\nProvide immediate response to facility emergencies including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues\nParticipate in Reliability Centered Maintenance best practices\nMaintain infrastructure and compliance documentation\nSupport contractor activities and assist other trade professionals as needed\nAdapt to schedule adjustments to accommodate projects and site demands\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED\n1+ years of facility-related work experience\nCustomer service experience\nLeadership and supervisory experience\nExtensive knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)\nAbility to read and understand operator/service manuals, specifications, and drawings\nKnowledge of regulatory laws and guidelines related to building infrastructure\nAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs\nFlexibility to bend/stoop and squat repetitively during shifts\nAbility to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis\nAbility to walk extensively throughout facilities\nCapability to participate in respiratory protection programs including respirator or PAPR use\nComfortable working at varying heights using ladders, scaffolding, aerial and platform lifts\nAvailability to respond to after-hours emergencies on-site as needed\nFlexibility in day-to-day activities and scheduling\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdditional years of facility maintenance experience beyond the minimum requirement\nExperience with critical environment systems\nBackground in light construction and maintenance\nPrevious experience with steam system maintenance and repair\nFamiliarity with reliability-based maintenance practices\nExperience managing critical spares inventory\nSafety training program development or management experience\nTrade certifications relevant to building systems maintenance\nLocation: Onsite\nWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10a-6p\nCompensation: $31-45/hr.
