As part of the role the Operations Lead must ensure that the projects are delivered to meet JLL & clients standards in regard to health, safety, quality, cost and programme, whilst complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 standards. PM must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for the execution of projects with potential values between £20k to £5m. \nProvide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery teams and promote behavioural safety improvements. \nSupport the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the projects. \nManage the projects in accordance with the requirements of the NEC3 Framework Contract \nSupport project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. \nPlay an active lead in the production and risk management of quotations and estimates. \nPromote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at project level. \nTo ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. \nWork closely with the Senior Design Manager to ensure robust, workable economic and constructable designs are produced. \nLiaise with the client Project Managers and their appointed consultant Project Managers to ensure that the projects are managed in compliance with MS18, CS06 and the current delivery programme and cost plan. \nTo ensure a high level of service is delivered and develop relationships with key stakeholders. \nEnsure projects are delivered to the agreed contract programme. \nTo ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and client Standards. \nProvide knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works. \nEnsure projects are completed snag and defect free. \nEnsure that post completion deliverables such as final accounts and Operation & Maintenance information is delivered within the contracted timescales. \nCommunicate using appropriate styles and methods. \nProject a professional demeanour with colleagues, clients and their customers. \nEnsure that Sharepoint project status is kept up to date across all projects \nEnsure that project related CVR information is kept up to date across all projects \nAbility to clearly communicate work tasks and win the commitment of others to achieving high levels of operational performance. \nPersonality\nBuild positive relationships with the team and stakeholders. \nCommunicate using appropriate styles and methods. \nProject a professional demeanour with colleagues, clients and their customers. \nAbility to clearly communicate work tasks and win the commitment of others to achieving high levels of operational performance. \nGood understanding of NEC3 Option C Contracts/Other Frameworks and supporting Project Teams in its implementation. \nSkills\nClear and confident written and verbal communication skills \nKnowledge and skills to effectively problem solve. \nHigh level of self-motivation, organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines. \nExperience in the preparation of quotations and estimates. \nAlready possess or be able to obtain the required levels of security clearance for access to the designated client locations involved in the role. \nLocation:\nOn-site -London, GBRIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
