Working within a client facility, you'll conduct routine inspections, execute preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex equipment issues to ensure manufacturing reliability and regulatory compliance. This role requires you to collaborate across production, engineering, and quality teams while adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and safety regulations. You'll utilize computerized maintenance management systems to document activities, analyze performance data, and implement reliability-centered strategies that keep critical pharmaceutical manufacturing processes running smoothly and safely.\nWhat your day-to-day will look like:\nPerform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment including compressors, pumps, fillers, HVAC systems, generators, and packaging machinery\nTroubleshoot equipment malfunctions using root cause analysis techniques, diagnosing issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime\nDocument all maintenance activities, work orders, inspections, and inventory transactions accurately within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance issues quickly, ensuring minimal impact on production schedules and quality standards\nMonitor equipment performance metrics and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and proactively prevent failures\nExecute equipment calibration, cleaning, lubrication, and routine checks according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)\nSupport equipment installations, modifications, and decommissioning projects while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements\nMaintain detailed equipment history records including work performed, spare parts utilized, and associated costs for reporting and analysis\nContribute to the development of maintenance procedures, training materials, and best practices that strengthen team capabilities and operational reliability\nRequired qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nProven experience as a reliability technician or maintenance technician within pharmaceutical manufacturing or similarly regulated industries\nIn-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment operation, maintenance requirements, and troubleshooting methodologies\nStrong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), standard operating procedures, and OSHA safety regulations\nProficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and relevant software applications for documentation and tracking\nDemonstrated problem-solving abilities with capacity to analyze complex technical issues and execute appropriate corrective actions\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nPhysical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and meet the physical demands of the role\nEffective communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders\nPreferred qualifications:\nTechnical certifications or specialized training in pharmaceutical equipment maintenance, industrial maintenance, or related disciplines\nExperience with reliability-centered maintenance strategies and predictive maintenance techniques\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies\nKnowledge of equipment automation systems, PLCs, and control systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
