The role turns large, complex datasets into reliable reporting, tariff and budget insight, and process improvements that support our clients' energy and sustainability performance. It combines hands-on data work with project delivery, vendor collaboration and stakeholder engagement, and sits at the intersection of data, technology and sustainability within the JBS business.\nKey responsibilities\nIntegrate smart-building and IoT solutions, API connectors and data feeds into JLL's energy management and sustainability platform (JouLLe), ensuring reliable, timely data flows.\nOwn data quality end to end - data cleansing, migration, integration, QA checks and validation across structured and unstructured energy and utility datasets.\nManage organizational structures within the JouLLe platform, including buildings (blocks), floors, tenants, and meter assignments across different client sites.\nProduce utility consumption analysis and reporting for internal teams and clients, translating raw data into clear, decision-ready insight.\nConduct analytical reviews of energy data patterns to support optimization recommendations and identify anomalies.\nManage utility budget reporting and develop tariff optimisation strategies that reduce cost and improve energy performance.\nLead requirements gathering, process mapping and system implementation - including platform enhancements and interfaces to finance, accounting and CRM systems.\nManage and collaborate with platform and smart-building solution vendors on scoping, delivery and ongoing improvements.\nDeliver data and platform projects end to end, on time and to specification.\nGenerate and manage client dashboard access via secure links, and provide platform training and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.\nSupport compliance and quality audits, and drive process streamlining, automation and efficiency initiatives.\nEssential skills & experience\nSignificant experience (typically 3-5 years) in data analysis, integration and migration - ideally across energy, sustainability, utilities, property or finance.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data patterns\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, for handling large structured and unstructured datasets.\nExperience with system implementation, administration and analysis.\nTicketing system or issue tracking tool experience (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or similar) for managing workflows and contractor coordination.\nStrong stakeholder and vendor management, with clear written and verbal communication.\nProject management capability, from requirements through to delivery.\nMethodical, proactive and independently motivated, with high standards for data quality and accuracy.\nDesirable skills & experience\nExperience with energy management, utility billing or consumption platforms.\nExperience with API based data flows, edge devices, IoT systems or building management systems (BMS)\nSmart building / IoT data / API Connector experience.\nWorking knowledge of tariffs, utility budgeting and energy procurement.\nERP experience (e.g. Yardi Voyager or a comparable property ERP).\nExposure to CRM (Salesforce).\nRelevant certifications in data analytics.\nA proven track record of process improvement, automation and efficiency gains.\nTechnical toolset (familiarity valued)\nMS Office 365\nExcel & Power Query\nEnergy management & utility billing platforms\nSmart-building / IoT data\nTicketing/Issue-tracking systems\nSalesforce\nSharePoint / Teams\nQualifications\nDegree in a relevant discipline (Data / IT, engineering, finance or sustainability), or equivalent practical experience.\nData analytics or data-foundations certification desirable.\nPersonal attributes\nMethodical, proactive and detail-oriented, with a quality-first mindset.\nCurious and a continuous learner - comfortable exploring new tools and solutions.\nA collaborative team player who values transparent communication.\nComfortable working across multiple teams, systems and, where relevant, jurisdictions.\nLocation:\nOn-site -Gurugram, HRScheduled Weekly Hours:\n40Job Tags:\nJBSIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet all the requirements.
