What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive facilities management strategies aligned with client business objectives and organizational goals

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs across multiple properties, ensuring optimal building performance and minimal operational disruption

  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, conducting performance evaluations and negotiations to maximize value and service quality

  • Lead capital improvement projects from conception through completion, including scope development, budgeting, contractor selection, and quality assurance

  • Monitor and analyze facilities budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence and compliance standards

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess building conditions, identify risks, and implement corrective actions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including property management, engineering, sustainability, and client stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including health and safety, environmental, and building codes

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and clients, providing insights on facilities performance, project status, and strategic recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related experience

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 2+ years in leadership capacity

  • Proven track record managing large-scale facilities operations and multi-million dollar budgets

  • Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems

  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement oversight

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels

  • Proficiency in CMMS/work order systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional)
