Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.\nSenior HSSEQ Manager\nWhat this job involves\nWe are currently seeking a Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) to join a JLL client account team within the Industrials and consumer goods vertical. The HSSEQ Manager position will be key member of the account team and provide HSSEQ leadership, advisory, and management services to the client facilities.\nThis position involves multi-site responsibility for Sites across the united states. Periodic travel to various operations sites to investigate events or problems, as well as travel to various meetings may be required (est. 20% travel).\nJob Responsibilities\nBecome the primary point of contact for HSSEQ requirements and activities for the account. Communicate HSE needs and results to the Account Leadership Team.\nMaintain documentation describing the HSSE program (playbooks, procedures, etc.) and records required by JLL, regulation, and the client.\nComplete and maintain Hazard/PPE Assessments for account activities.\nCreate and maintain a regulatory compliance register for each account location.\nPlay a lead role in the continued development and refinement of JLL’s one team safer together HSSEQ culture and training programs on the account.\nDevelop / maintain the account training matrix; manage and assign the on-line training requirements; and provide training/presentations as needed on specific topics applicable to the account employees.\nEnsure that accidents, injuries, near misses/good catches, and other events are captured, and the data is managed and reported. Manage the OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping requirements for the account. Also, be the Account’s Administrator for the JLL Incident Management System.\nParticipate with operating site as needed to lead or support investigations of HSSEQ events, the analysis of root cause(s), support/track the implementation of effective corrective actions, and prepare communications to share the lessons-learned from such events across the account operations.\nAssist in the assurance of compliance with all HSSEQ Sections of the JLL Client Assurance Program (JCAP).\nSupport environmental compliance efforts as specified in the JLL/client Master Service Agreement (MSA)/Statement of Work (SOW).\nSupport the HSSEQ Americas team in rolling out new compliance and best management practices programs across the account (and occasionally support JLL-wide HSSEQ activities).\nQualifications\n· Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field (degree may be waived if >7 years’ experience or hold HSE professional certification)\n· 5+ years of experience. Relevant professional certification(s) a plus.\n· Proven record of success with project management skills for balancing multi-site activities.\n· Broad based knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations.\n· Good verbal and written communication skills.\n· A proven record of making presentations and providing effective training.\n· Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues and clients.\n· Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to employ intelligent flexibility.\n· Analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and ability to employ intelligent flexibility.\nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
