With 140+ year trading experience and a strong project delivery culture, we are proud to have built lasting relationships with some of the UK’s most respected companies in all areas of industry and construction.\nSummary of Role\nYou will be responsible for the service, PPM and technical support of fire alarm systems.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress you career within the fire engineering sector working on the latest technology in fire alarms.\nYou will receive full training on our range of products either via our chosen manufacturers, industry recognised training courses or via our in-house product training facility.\nWhat you will be doing\nConducting servicing, PPM and technical support on fire alarm systems for our clients.\nService and maintain Fire Alarm Systems - Addressable and conventional\nYou may be required, on occasion to provide cover in other areas and stay away.\nWhat we will need from you\nProven & demonstrable experience in fire alarm systems maintenance gained over a number of years (essential).\nFamiliar with and understand BS5839 standards (essential)\nFIA or equivalent training is highly desirable.\nHold a full UK Driving Licence (essential).\nProvide a professional service at all times demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, quality and customer service (essential)\nAble to work independently, with little supervision but also able to work successfully as part of a team (essential).\nDemonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of customers/clients/internal colleagues (essential).\nReliability and punctuality qualities are essential to this role.\nWhat you can expect in return\nSalary Range competitive & negotiable depending on level of experience\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays and option to buy 5 days\nContributory company pension scheme\nCompany Van plus fuel card\nMobile phone\nHours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8.45 - 16.40, Friday 8.45 - 4pm)\nCall out rota - 1 in 8 days + standby allowance.\nCall out rate - Min of 3 hours for first call out for one occurrence.
