You run the trades, the safety program, and the quality of work in place so the look-ahead, the daily report, and the building are the same job.\nWhat your day-to-day will look like\nOwn mobilization with the Construction Manager: temps, fencing, offices, utilities, access, and Landlord compliance.\nExecute the site logistics plan: laydown, hoisting, deliveries, traffic, and adjacent-tenant constraints.\nConfirm permits and conditions-to-start are closed before work begins.\nStand up and lead the safety program: pre-task planning, daily huddles, and toolbox talks.\nRun daily site operations, manpower tracking, and same-day reporting visible to the Project Manager.\nManage trade handoff QC; do not release a follow-on trade onto unfinished or unaccepted work.\nBuild and work the two-week look-ahead with the Construction Manager on the master schedule.\nPull permit inspections, testing, and mockups forward; coordinate AHJ and special inspectors.\nExecute commissioning and QC against the established plan; verify installed quantities that feed the pay application.\nSupport RFIs and submittals from the field using only the approved-for-construction set.\nDrive the punchlist to zero with the Construction Manager, walk final AHJ inspections and the Final Certificate of Occupancy, and verify attic stock before closeout.\nRequired qualifications\n7+ years of commercial construction field supervision on occupied or technically constrained sites.\nProven ownership of daily reports, look-aheads, trade handoff QC, and AHJ inspection sequencing.\nDemonstrated safety leadership: pre-task, huddles, toolbox talks, and incident response without waiting for the office.\nAbility to read construction documents, approved submittals, and a CPM look-ahead and run the site from them.\nClear, same-day written communication.\nOSHA 30 certification; valid driver's license and ability to be on site daily.\nPreferred qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience.\nPMP or equivalent project management certification.\nFirst Aid/CPR certification.\nExperience with e-Builder or equivalent PMIS for daily reports, photos, and punch.\nMission-critical, landlord-controlled, or client-occupied environment experience.\nCommissioning and TCO/Certificate of Occupancy close experience.\nTrade background before supervision.\nJLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.
