You'll create specialized curricula covering critical systems including electrical, HVAC, UPS, controls, and safety procedures to ensure all team members maintain the highest level of technical competency. This role requires deep technical expertise across multiple disciplines and the ability to translate complex data center operations into effective learning experiences that support mission-critical facility management.\nYour day-to-day tasks will include -\nDevelop and deliver technical training programs \nCreate comprehensive training materials including presentations, hands-on exercises, standard operating procedures, and assessment tools \nConduct new employee orientation programs and ongoing professional development sessions for facility technicians and engineers \nDesign and implement competency-based training tracks for different skill levels and technical specializations \nCoordinate with equipment manufacturers to provide specialized training on critical systems and new technology implementations \nEvaluate training effectiveness through assessments, skill demonstrations, and performance metrics tracking \nMaintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation for all facility personnel \nSupport incident response training including emergency procedures, safety protocols, and crisis management scenarios \nCollaborate with operations management to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions \nDesired experience and technical skills -\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related technical field \nMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience in data center or mission-critical facility operations \nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC equipment, UPS systems, and building automation systems \nProven experience in training development, curriculum design, and adult learning principles \nExcellent presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts \nExperience with learning management systems (LMS) and training documentation software \nUnderstanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices \nAbility to travel to multiple facility locations for training delivery \nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously \nPreferred: \nData center operations or critical facility management experience \nProfessional training certifications (CTT+, CPLP, or similar) \nExperience with Uptime Institute standards and data center industry certifications \nKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations and electrical safety training (NFPA 70E) \nMaster's degree in Engineering, Education, or related field \nIndustry certifications in electrical, HVAC, or controls systems \nExperience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) training technologies \nThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
