In this role, you will leverage advanced financial modeling and rigorous market research skills to deliver high-quality valuation advice for complex public sector assets. You will work closely with the wider PSV team to position JLL as a market leader, ensuring that our valuations are not only compliant but also underpinned by robust data analysis and strategic insight.\nWhat This Job Involves\nDesign, build, and maintain complex financial models to support valuation conclusions for diverse asset classes.\nConduct detailed sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess risk and inform client decision-making.\nDemonstrate high-level proficiency in Excel, utilising advanced functions, macros, and data visualisation techniques to streamline analysis and enhance report accuracy.\nReview and validate financial inputs and assumptions provided by clients or third parties, ensuring logical consistency and market realism.\nCritically analyse market evidence to support valuation arguments, ensuring all conclusions are defensible and data-driven.\nManage the end-to-end delivery of complex valuations for financial reporting\nDraft clear, concise, and professional valuation reports that effectively communicate technical findings to stakeholders.\nExperience & Attributes\nMinimum 1-5 years of relevant experience in property/plant & equipment valuations\nStrong knowledge of Australian Valuation Standards (API/IVS) and/or Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)\nA keen interest in plant & equipment and financial reporting valuations\nExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work under tight deadlines.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and valuation concepts into clear insights for clients.\nCandidates with more experience could be considered as Senior Analyst.\nProfessional Accreditation (Preferred)\nPreferred: Current membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) and/or the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).\nLocation:\nOn-site -Melbourne, VICIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
