You will develop Python automation that works across EHR systems, payer portals, and internal services. You will learn healthcare billing workflows and build your skills in Selenium, computer vision, web services, and cloud technology. You will work closely with senior engineers and get regular code review and mentorship, and you will own real production work from early on.\nKey Responsibilities\nAutomation Development: Build and maintain automation for RCM processes using Python, Selenium, and OpenCV.\nWeb Automation: Automate browser tasks such as data extraction, form submission, and portal navigation.\nComputer Vision and OCR: Use OpenCV and OCR to read and interact with screens and documents in desktop and web applications.\nProduction Support: Monitor running automations. Investigate failures using logs, screenshots, and database records, then fix the cause.\nData and SQL: Write SQL queries to look at task queues, results, and exceptions, and to support reporting.\nServices and APIs: Help build and maintain internal APIs, dashboards, and integrations with payers, clearinghouses, and EHR systems.\nCollaboration: Work with operations teams and SMEs to understand manual workflows and turn them into reliable automation.\nCompliance and Security: Follow HIPAA requirements, secure credential handling, and logging and audit practices in all development work.\nDocumentation: Write and maintain technical documentation for the workflows you build.\nCloud Services: Use Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Key Vault) as part of the automation infrastructure.\nRequirements\nMinimum of 1 year of professional software development experience, or equivalent academic or project experience.\nWorking proficiency in Python.\nFamiliarity with SQL and relational databases.\nExperience with Git and a standard pull request workflow.\nStrong analytical and debugging skills, and close attention to detail.\nClear written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical teammates.\nInterest in healthcare RCM workflows (e.g., eligibility, authorizations, claims, denials).\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nExperience with Selenium, Playwright, or another browser automation tool.\nWeb development experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.\nExperience building or consuming REST APIs.\nExposure to OpenCV, OCR (e.g., Tesseract), or image processing.\nExperience with automated testing (e.g., pytest).\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure or another cloud platform.\nExposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or PowerShell scripting in Windows environments.\nFamiliarity with healthcare data standards (X12 EDI 270/271, HL7) or EHR systems.\nExperience using AI/ML or LLM tools in real projects.\nAwareness of logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Grafana).\nMust be legally authorized to work in the USA.
