This role works closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and global technical experts, ensure systems are designed, installed, and commissioned in compliance with Jotun engineering standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.This role will be based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, reporting to Project Manager.\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupport the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of HVAC and Fire Fighting (FF) systems throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure all HVAC and FF systems are delivered in compliance with Jotun engineering standards, applicable regulations, and project specifications.\nCollaborate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and Group Technical teams to ensure successful project execution.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and project planning activities to identify optimal engineering solutions.\nMonitor site activities, conduct inspections, and ensure works are executed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.\nReview and approve HVAC and FF equipment, materials, fittings, and technical documentation before installation.\nCoordinate contractors and service providers to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality workmanship.\nTrack project progress, report key milestones, and proactively identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities.\nSupport technical bid evaluations, contractor selection, and value engineering initiatives.\nParticipate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.\nVerify mechanical completion and readiness for commissioning of HVAC and FF systems.\nEnsure risk assessments are conducted and follow up on mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.\nSupport the successful handover of systems to operations, ensuring all project requirements and documentation are completed.\nChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements throughout project execution.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER\nQualification:\nPossess at least a Bachelor Degree in relevant HVAC fields.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in factory constructionprojects. \nExperience in ATEX installations, especially in chemical/paint/oil & gas projects. \nFamiliar with tools like: Auto CAD and Naviswork (3D).\nFluent in both written and spoken English.\nWhat We Look For:\nPerforms Inspections: Reviewing text, numbers, or physical objects and comparing to each other or to a standard to ensure completeness, accuracy, and identification of flaws or defects.\nCollaborates: Willingly working with others towards common goals, understanding the responsibilities, activities and ways to foster business interrelationships.\nGenerates Solutions: Identifying problems, critically reviewing facts, recognising the root causes, and providing multiple, practical and sound solutions.\nThinks Systemically: Recognising the complex interrelationships among business activities and understanding the \"big picture\" of how decisions impact the overall business, other units, outcomes or processes.\nPrioritises: Allocating attention, effort, and resources based on perceived value, importance, urgency, and other personal, organisational, and political factors.\nTakes Initiative: Taking proactive and constructive action at work with little or no direction from others.\nWhat We Offer:\nContinuous learning opportunities and training activities through on-the-job training and our in-house learning Jotun Academy.\nA supportive and inclusive company culture where you can be your authentic self.\nFlexi Medical Benefits (Outpatient, Health Screening, Dental & Optical) are offered.\nPOSITION INFORMATION\nCompany:\nJotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
