This role will suit someone with direct experience being responsible for the narrative and storytelling elements of interdisciplinary design projects and a confident knowledge of experiential design, audience interaction and storytelling for immersive environments. You’llwork closely with our Project Director, Creative Director, Producers, and Designers, interpreting and translating briefs into creative visions across a range of projects in the cultural and brand sectors. \nKey Responsibilities:\nThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following\nTake on creative or strategic briefs and develop them into compelling creative approaches, including visitor experience narratives, experiential concepts, and narrative/visual direction for digital media. \nWork across a range of deliverables that support various stages of our projects including narrative outlines, creative treatments, moodboards, style frames, experiential concepts, visitor journey mapping, artist briefing decks, and style frames. \nWork autonomously across project development and delivery, from initial concept through execution, ensuring creative vision stays aligned with client objectives and studio standards. \nWorkshop and concept collaboratively with the project team to develop the creative vision. \nProvide hands-on art direction to junior creatives and contractors across film (live action, CG, VFX, animation), interactive media, and experiential design. \nPartner with Producers on timelines and project reviews. \nCreate presentation materials for existing projects and new business. \nCandidate Qualifications & Skills\nRequired\nApproximately 5+ years of demonstrable design experience with an innovative, creative agency or production environment. \nA sharp eye for design excellence and details \nAbility to design in a wide range of styles and platforms \nA natural storyteller, approaching visual and experiential design through the lens of the narrative \nAbility to take a brief and run with it, bringing the vision to life through compelling art direction and hands-on design work. \nCandidates may have any combination of creative backgrounds, including film, motion design, exhibition design, spatial design, branding, or immersive content. \nExperience with Google Suite \nStrong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - shortcuts and efficient workflow a must \nExperience with Figma\nDesirable\nExperience in museum/exhibition design \nExperience with Cinema 4d \nBasic understanding of Unity /digital pipeline\nContract Type : Full time, permanent contract\nLocation: New York\nWe value regular in-person collaboration because we think it leads to the best creative work however hybrid working is available around project commitments.\nApplication: Please submit a Resume demonstrating your experience, a bespoke cover letter explaining how your experience meets the required and desirable criteria of this role and a portfolio of your Design work, outlining your individual contributions to the projects you reference.\nDue to the clear Design experience required for this role we are unable to consider applications without Portfolios.\nWe anticipate a large volume of applications for this role and so unfortunately won't be able to consider applications that don't meet all the application criteria.\nWork Authorisation: For this particular opportunity we are only able to consider applications from those with pre-existing work authorisation for the US.\nInterviews: Introductory calls and interviews are anticipated from w/c 5th October.
