This position is a pure design role, responsible for producing accurate, coordinated mechanical construction documents using Revit and other design software. The role works closely with engineers and project teams and does not require professional licensure.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop mechanical system layouts and construction documents using Revit, IESVE and equipment selection software\nProduce detailed HVAC, process piping and building mechanical designs in accordance with project requirements and engineering direction \nCoordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams \nAssist with BIM coordination, model updates, and clash resolution \nIncorporate redlines, markups, and design revisions accurately and efficiently \nSupport multiple projects while meeting quality standards and deadlines \nMaintain organized, complete, and consistent design documentation\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least two years of Design experience. \nIntermediate expertise and experience in the current release of AutoCAD and Revit\nExperience producing construction documents for industrial, commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or similar building types \nSolid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and layouts \nAbility to design piping systems for various liquids and gases\nAbility to work from engineering direction and design criteria \nStrong attention to detail and drafting accuracy \nEffective communication and teamwork skills\nWhy JP Cullen?\nAt JP Cullen, we specialize in the “Tough Jobs” no one else can do.
