This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working collaboratively with project teams, designers, and trade partners, and who wants to deepen their technical expertise while staying closely connected to both the field and office.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the planning and coordination of mechanical systems including HVAC, process piping, plumbing, fire protection and related building systems \nReview drawings and specifications for constructability, coordination, and clarity \nAssist with mechanical scope development, system layouts, and sequencing strategies \nDevelop complete engineering documents for mechanical systems including plans and specifications\nCollaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Superintendents, and MEP team members to resolve design and field issues \nParticipate in coordination meetings with design teams, trade partners, and owners \nSupport review of submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings related to mechanical systems \nAssist with field observations to verify installation aligns with drawings and specifications \nSupport system start-up, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation \nContribute to continuous improvement efforts, lessons learned, and best practices development\nUphold JP Cullen’s standards for safety, quality, and teamwork on every project\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineering license\nAt least five years of Design experience.
