The Lead Assistant Superintendent will coordinate subcontractor work in all areas, including framing, roofing, concrete, sheetrock, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, masonry/plaster and landscaping as assigned by the Superintendent.\nEssential Functions & Responsibilities\nAct as a representative and advocate of JPI’s Culture and Guiding Principles.\n\nOversee the management of safety of the project, ensuring that all safety measures are implemented daily. All safety scores should be above a 95 average per quarter.\n\nOversee the management of the SWPPP program, ensuring that all SWPPP procedures are followed daily.\n\nOversee all field operations, monitoring the quality of the workmanship and materials on the project.\n\nEnsure all personnel are scheduling city inspections, 3rdparty inspections and following and documenting JPI internal quality control measures.\n\nEnsure that all project goals are met.\n\nSchedule with Superintendent all subcontractor work, including mobilization and deliveries.\n\nActively create schedules along with Superintendent, ensuring all project goals are being met.\n\nAssist in minimizing cost to the project.\n\nGenerate all schedules assigned by the Superintendent in written form.\n\nEnsure all photo documentation is being taken, labeled, and recorded into Procore daily by team members.\n\nCreate, monitor and retrieve responses to RFI’s.\n\nConduct subcontractor weekly safety and production meetings.\n\nSupervise and delegate work to the positions of Assistant Superintendent, Punch Carpenters and Laborers ensuring that safety, SWPPP, Production and Quality standards are being met.\n\nServe as the Superintendent whenever the Superintendent is not available.\n\nCloseout Projects\n\nNon-essential Functions & Responsibilities\nAssist in the resolution of on-site subcontractor issues. All safety, SWPPP, Quality and Production issues with subcontractors are under your management to begin generating a resolution.\n\nOther duties may be assigned by the supervisor.\n\nEducation, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field is preferred.\n6-10 years of experience preferred.\nMinimum of 6 years of construction experience with at least two years of supervisory experience. \nA minimum of 5 years multi-family construction experience required.\n150+ unit multifamily construction experience highly preferred \nMust be familiar with multifamily construction procedures.\nGeneral Base Pay Range\nPlease note that the posted annual base pay range reflects the anticipated compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity with existing associates, and the Company’s budget at the time of the offer. This range applies to base salary only.
