This is an opportunity to influence the future of digital banking and contribute to products that reach millions of customers.\nAs a Senior Associate in our Credit Risk team, you will define, refine, and oversee the execution of credit risk management mandates and risk criteria for the launch and ongoing management of Chase lending products.\nYou will play a key role in launching and managing lending products by designing, implementing, and maintaining credit risk rules tailored to these offerings. You will leverage data analytics and market insights to develop and optimize risk criteria, helping ensure responsible lending and strong portfolio quality. Working closely with teams across Risk, Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Core Banking, and Technology, you will help create robust risk capabilities and monitoring processes that support portfolio performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth.\nJob Responsibilities\nPerform in-depth analysis, including default rate analysis, to develop optimal credit risk criteria, including rules, cut-offs, policies, data mapping, and documentation.\nDrive deep-dive analytics on risk criteria effectiveness and partner with the Modelling team to enhance models that support core risk management decisions.\nParticipate in Credit Forums and Risk Committees in accordance with governance and risk management requirements.\nEnsure risk criteria implementation is assessed and delivered according to relevant change governance requirements.\nCollate, document, and communicate requirements to delivery partners and establish monitoring processes to ensure new controls operate as intended.\nPartner with data platform teams to ensure availability of key data required for risk criteria evaluation, optimization, and process management.\nEstablish and maintain monitoring processes to identify emerging risks and assess portfolio performance.\nSupport audit, governance, and documentation requirements related to credit risk frameworks.\nContribute to the ongoing enhancement of credit risk policies, controls, and decisioning.\nRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills\nExperience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data using programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Java, or C#.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills\nExperience supporting the launch of new lending products.\nKnowledge of consumer lending products and credit risk frameworks.\nExperience working within a digital banking environment.\nFamiliarity with credit risk model development and monitoring processes.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings and business recommendations.\nExperience working in agile or fast-paced environments.\nAbility to manage change while delivering business value.\nExperience with process improvement or process re-engineering initiatives.\nPreferred Experience\nKnowledge of UK consumer lending products and credit risk framework\nExperience in Credit Risk within consumer lending products, such as personal loans, credit cards, or similar products.\nExperience developing or managing credit risk policies and
