You will work closely with line of business controllers, middle office, and operations teams to understand the operational impact of trading and ensure the integrity of our financial and reporting processes.\nJob responsibilities\nManage the monthly consolidation of JPMorgan Chase income statement and balance sheet. Develop and maintain financial reports and schedules while controlling post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments.\nPerform various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results. Participate in all aspects of the production of the monthly financial Variance Analysis Report\nSupport ad-hoc requests for financial information received from across the firm. Work with various areas to research, escalate, and clear cash and settlement exceptions in a timely manner\nCollaborate with businesses and controllers to understand and approve monthly profit and loss statements, while completing the monthly general ledger reconciliation process.\nPerform T0 v/s T1 checks- Provide P&L commentary of mark to market P&L including Market drivers- Review RSBPL Scallops\nReconcile source data to ledger, resolve any breaks\nEnsure the maintenance of a strong internal control environment. Attest control tool and maintain evidence of same. Manage ad hoc queries from stakeholders including front office, COO, financial/product controllers\nProvide daily balance sheet commentary based on business drivers.
