You will assist with analyzing technology expenses, preparing value-added reporting, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities. Working with guidance from senior team members, you will collaborate with planning and analysis partners and expense leads across technology. You will help maintain data integrity and support process improvement efforts that enable timely, accurate reporting.\nJob responsibilities\nSupport accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for technology expenses\nAssist with month-end close activities, including forecast updates and budget preparation\nCollaborate with finance and business management partners across technology to develop insights on run rate, risks, opportunities, and efficiency initiatives\nPrepare executive-ready presentations, analysis, and supporting materials for senior management and other internal stakeholders\nPerform variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial results and draft clear commentary versus prior forecasts and budgets\nContribute to monthly corporate deliverables by coordinating inputs, explanations, and walk-forwards of expense trends and movements\nConsolidate and review taxonomy reporting and project-level details to ensure consistency across multiple sources\nReconcile accounting and financial data to support high-quality reporting and decision-making\nEnhance controls and support efforts to streamline processes through automation and modeling where appropriate\nMaintain data integrity through ongoing reviews, checks, and documentation of key assumptions\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and support transformation-related workstreams as needed\n\nRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field\nAt least 1 year of relevant experience (internship experience in financial planning, reporting, or analytics is beneficial)\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint\nFamiliarity with collaboration and file-sharing tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint\nStrong analytical skills, including comfort gathering, cleaning, and manipulating data sets\nAttention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present findings clearly and concisely\nSound judgment and ability to work independently on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance\nStrong organizational and time management skills; motivated self-starter mindset\nCollaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships across teams\n\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills\nPrior internship or project experience in corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting\nExperience preparing materials for senior audiences (for example, leadership updates or business reviews)\nExposure to process improvement or automation efforts within finance or analytics workflows\nComfort working with large data sets and validating data across multiple sources\nInterest in technology investment topics and how operating expenses are managed in large organizations\nAdditional Information:\nTo be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
