management and improvement within the team by updating and creating documentation and runbooks in line with engineering standards\nProvide advanced troubleshooting and support for Proxy issues\nCollaborate with other IT & business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals\nContribute to change management process improvement by building standardized change implementation templates\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members\nUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements. \nApplies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable/auditable and aligned to resiliency and security expectations. \nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines, with 3+ years of applied, hands-on experience.\nHands-on experience installing, migrating, and decommissioning Broadcom (Bluecoat) proxy/security devices: ProxySG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances, and Symantec Management Center (SMC).\nExperience with SaaS-based secure gateway vendors such as Zscaler and/or Netskope.\nAbility to design, build, test, and deploy proxy-based security solutions end-to-end.\nStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network security concepts, including application-layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) and vulnerability mitigation.\nGood understanding of REST APIs and container-based deployment models.\nUnderstanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.\nProficiency using SIEM tools for security investigation and troubleshooting.\nAutomation scripting skills for proxy environments, including comfort with shell/Python scripts and Ansible playbooks, plus strong networking fundamentals (topology, VLANs, routing, switching, global/local load balancing, firewalls) and flexibility to work off-hours/weekends in a 24x7 on-call rotation.\nDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. \nAbility to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and
