Your expertise will directly influence how we scale our technology to meet evolving business demands.\nThe Connectivity Implementation Engineer will be responsible for leading delivery of network and connectivity services, globally. This role partners with internal business stakeholders, service delivery teams and external telecom providers to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective deployment of network solutions that meet business requirements and engineering standards.\nJob responsibilities\nOrchestrate post-order carrier milestones across the delivery lifecycle; track progress, identify risks, and drive mitigation to keep delivery predictable.\nCoordinate install and cutover execution, including site/provider scheduling, internal handoffs, maintenance windows, and execution readiness.\nPlan and execute testing aligned to agreed acceptance criteria; capture and manage test evidence and implementation exceptions through to resolution or documented acceptance.\nComplete BAU handover with closure evidence and required metadata; ensure documentation quality supports operational readiness and auditability.\nExecute decommission/disconnect activities where in scope, with appropriate governance and closure evidence.\nPartner with the Demand Managers for customer-facing status communications, providing accurate milestone updates, risks, and mitigation plans.\nCoordinate with telecom providers, vendors, and internal engineering teams end-to-end - from design through acceptance testing and BAU handover - driving performance against SLAs.\nManage change control inputs, cost governance inputs, and documentation hygiene across connectivity implementations.\nUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.\nApplies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable/auditable and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.\nProven implementation delivery / service delivery experience, within a global financial or regulated enterprise environment.\nDeep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies (Layers 0-3), including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular, and satellite connectivity.\nExperience coordinating delivery with telecom service providers and managed service providers, including contract and SLA oversight.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across business and technical domains.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations across geographies.\nWorking familiarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures (e.g., public cloud on-ramps, private connectivity patterns) and how they impact implementation planning and testing.\nUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.\nApplies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable/auditable and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) for workflow, documentation, reporting, and closure evidence management.\nFamiliarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures.\nRelevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).\nData analytical skills -
