This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDevelop and enhance applications for equity derivatives trading and analytics\nPartner with trading desks, technology teams, and Quantitative Research to deliver solutions\nLead the Systematic Quoting Platform workstream for EMEA\nMaintain and improve the existing technology stack to ensure stability\nAutomate Front Office processes and functions using technology solutions\nCollaborate with global and local counterparts to solve business problems\nDrives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.\nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.\nParticipate in business transformation projects across analytics, marking, and publishing\nPropose and explore new solutions to drive competitive advantage\nApply disciplined code management, testing, and deployment practices\nRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:\nHands-on experience with systematic trading technology platforms\nProven ability to develop, deploy, and maintain commercial service-oriented applications\nStrong Python skills and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC)\nBusiness knowledge of simple derivative products (vanilla options, variance swaps, strategies involving vanillas)\nUnderstanding of pricing and risk evaluation using Greeks\nExperience with at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, etc.)\nKnowledge of at least one relational database (Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)\nDemonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.\nStrong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices\nEffective utilization of unit testing\nExperience across the full project lifecycle\nPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:\nEquities business knowledge or relevant experience in other business areas.
