Reporting to the Head of the EMEA Private Bank Execution Trading Desks, this role provides local leadership and oversight of the Luxembourg Execution Trading Desk. As a Vice-President, you will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for capturing, executing, and supporting client-directed orders across asset classes, while ensuring robust risk management, regulatory adherence, and a consistently high client experience. You will be working alongside a team of talented colleagues from other markets, businesses, and functions across the International Private Bank in a role that is integral to the business and its growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Luxembourg Execution Trading Desk-set local priorities aligned to EMEA strategy, drive business growth, and deliver operational excellence in partnership with regional and global stakeholders.
- People leadership and culture-hire, develop, and retain talent; foster a collaborative, inclusive culture fully connected to the broader Private Bank organization.
- Oversee and execute trades across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives), ensuring timely and accurate order handling with a risk-oriented mindset.
- End-to-end trade lifecycle management-ensure strong processes from pre-trade checks through execution, booking, confirmations, and post-trade controls, including accurate client reporting of execution details.
- Risk, controls, and governance-maintain high standards for best execution, conduct, order handling, surveillance readiness, escalation, and regulatory/audit responsiveness; ensure applicable disclosures and product obligations are met.
- Partnering and connectivity-work closely with front office, operations, compliance, risk, technology, Business Management and other market teams to deliver consistent service across the EMEA footprint.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 5+years of relevant experience in capital market products, trading/execution-related functions (market- or client-facing) is a plus.
- Demonstrated people leadership with strong stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and capital markets products.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, business, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to operate under market deadlines with high attention to detail and execution accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; sound judgment and problem-solving capability.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Proficiency in other European languages is a plus
