As the ORM representative, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a second line of defense function, fostering stakeholder relationships, including Business, Legal, Finance, Audit and other control functions, driving innovation, and ensuring a strong risk and control environment.\nJob responsibilities\nIndependent oversight, guidance and review across various initiatives and business processes focused on ORM for Payments across Argentina and Chile and providing assistance with ORM Country overage for Chile\n\nSupport regulatory reviews, audits, exams, deliverables and inquiries\n\nConduct independent assessments of operational risks leveraging the CCOR framework\n\nUnderstanding, assessing and providing guidance on the local regulatory requirements in Argentina and Chile that impact operational risk\n\nReview CCOR policies, procedures, and bulletins to ensure alignment with local regulatory obligations and corporate requirements; further addressed by local manuals\n\nAssist in Operational Risk Appetite and Risk Identification from a second line of defense perspective\n\nProvide critical and analytical thinking to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions\n\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the business, Legal, Audit, Finance and other control functions.\n\nResponsible for horizontal risk oversight (resiliency, outsourcing, data risk) for the area of coverage\n\nDemonstrated capability and curiosity in using Copilot, AI, data analytics, and workflow automation tools (LLM, Tableau, Alteryx), to enhance efficiency, generate insights, and support decision-making\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nContribute to a proactive legal entity culture within 1LOD and 2LOD\n\nRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and skills.\nMinimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Risk related subject\n\nMinimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner (English and Spanish)\n\nExperience interacting with audit and local regulators a plus\n\nWorking knowledge of Payments products preferred\n\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment\n\nExperience with Risk Management, Operations, Product Management or Front Office\n\nAbility to work in a matrix reporting structure\n\nStrategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills with successful track record of completion\n\nTeam player with strong influencing skills and ability to drive change and deliver results\n\nAbility to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment\n\nAbility to learn and understand internal systems\n\nAbility to interact with all levels of personnel within the corporate framework\n\nAbout J.P.
