We value intellectual curiosity, rigorous thinking, and the ability to bridge deep technical expertise with meaningful, real-world impact.\nJob responsibilities\nLead original research in quantum computing spanning algorithms, error correction, compilation, simulation, or financial applications, and publish results in top-tier academic venues\nCollaborate with quantum hardware partners to design and execute experiments on partially and fully fault-tolerant quantum devices\nPartner with lines of business to identify, formalize, and solve high-value computational problems using quantum and advanced classical methods\nDevelop and maintain scientific software for algorithm development, circuit compilation, simulation, and benchmarking\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nPh.D. in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field with a research focus in quantum computing\nStrong publication record in at least one of the following: quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, quantum complexity theory, quantum simulation, or computational finance\nProficiency in Python, C++, or Julia\nClear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both specialist and non-technical audiences\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience with scientific computing and numerical methods\nFamiliarity with quantum error-correcting codes -
