Carry out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives\nJob responsibilities\nDesign build, test, and maintain software applications across the full SDLC, including requirements, implementation, code reviews, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support, in partnership with product, QA, and engineering teams.\nFollow software security best practices, including secure coding standards, dependency and secret management, vulnerability remediation, and security testing throughout the SDLC.\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) to provision, version-control, and operate scalable and secure environments.\nBuild and deliver cloud-native solutions with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including core services, security/IAM, networking, and performance and scalability considerations.\nApply DevOps practices to improve developer productivity and system reliability through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release automation, monitoring and alerting, and incident management.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and provide customer support by triaging incidents, troubleshooting production issues, communicating status and ETAs, and driving root-cause analysis and preventative fixes.\nExecutes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions in order to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners)\nUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate security analysis and vulnerability assessment documentation, validating outputs and ensuring sensitive data is handled appropriately.\nCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems\nLeads delivery of continuity-related awareness, training and educational activities, and exercises\nApplies reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within SDLC/toolchain routines to strengthen security testing and control validation, ensuring traceability/auditability and alignment to resiliency and security expectations.\nRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills\nFormal training or certification on security engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience \nExperience developing security engineering solutions\nDocumented experience building enterprise applications using Java\nDocumented experience using AWS or other public cloud technologies\nDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.\nAbility to review and validate AI-assisted code/security recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following security and data handling requirements.\nProficient in coding in one of more languages\nKnowledge of SDLC execution, including agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security\nStrong working knowledge of information and network security, IT risk management, and architectural concepts and
