You may also be involved in developing and integrating blockchain solutions, including experience with public chains such as Ethereum, and leveraging AWS cloud services to build scalable, secure applications.\nJob Responsibilities\nParticipates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java or Python to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams\nExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting\nCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems\nProduces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development\nGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems\nIdentifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture\nContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies\nDesigns and implements blockchain-based solutions, including smart contracts and decentralized applications on public chains such as Ethereum\nUtilizes AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage scalable applications\nDrives team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes (e.g., AI-assisted code review/refactoring, test strategy acceleration, incident/root-cause analysis support), while establishing consistent validation standards (secure coding, peer review, automated testing) and promoting reuse of effective patterns across the team.\nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience in coding in Java or Python languages\nHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability\nExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages\nOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle\nUnderstanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security\nKnowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)\nExperience with blockchain technologies, including public chains such as Ethereum\nExperience with AWS cloud services\nDemonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.\nStrong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations;
