The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building reusable components and templates, and can contribute to content model design in AEM under established standards. You will partner with Product, Design, and Platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences.\nJob responsibilities\nBuilds software solutions, including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting, to break down technical problems and deliver reliable outcomes.\nDevelops secure, high-quality production code; participates in peer code reviews; and debugs issues in collaboration with the team.\nDesigns and builds backend services / APIs and integrates them with web applications.\nIdentifies recurring issues and contributes to automation, monitoring, and remediation improvements to enhance operational stability.\nCollaborates with internal teams to evaluate solution options and recommends improvements aligned to existing platform standards and architecture.\nParticipates in communities of practice across Software Engineering; shares learnings and contributes to adoption of new technologies where appropriate.\nSupports estimation and sprint planning; proactively raises risks, communicates trade-offs, and follows engineering best practices with guidance from senior engineers.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field\nStrong Java backend development experience (Java 17+) including building and maintaining RESTful APIs/services.\nStrong experience with Spring / Spring Boot (dependency injection, REST controllers, configuration, testing patterns).\nStrong ReactJS experience for web development (modern React patterns; ability to build reusable components and integrate with APIs).\nFamiliarity with front-end tooling such as ES6/TypeScript, and styling using CSS/SASS (or equivalent).\nStrong development fundamentals: clean code, debugging, performance awareness, and secure coding practices.\nExperience using Maven and Git in day-to-day development; comfortable working in CI/CD-driven teams.\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nHands-on experience with AEM (Sites/Assets), including component development with HTL, Sling Models, OSGi fundamentals, JCR, and Granite/Coral UI.\nExperience with AEM Assets processing, DAM workflows, and custom metadata schemas.\nExperience with Adobe Target, Analytics, Launch, and common integration patterns across Adobe Experience Cloud.\nUnderstanding of AEM security concepts, permissions, workflows; familiarity with upgrade/service pack concepts and multi-site patterns.\nKnowledge of DevOps fundamentals for AEM, including CI/CD concepts, environment automation, and safe deployment practices.\nUnderstanding of accessibility (WCAG), internationalization, and SEO best practices (especially for content-driven sites).\nFamiliarity with headless delivery concepts (e.g., AEM Content Fragments;
