You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.\nJob responsibilities\nExecutes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting \nWrite secure, clean, and maintainable code in C#/.NET with increasing autonomy. \nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation \nLeverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards\nContribute to the design and integration of AI/ML and GenAI capabilities-such as intelligent automation, anomaly/fraud detection, and data-driven decisioning-into payment workflows. \nBuild cloud-native services on AWS, applying modern patterns for deployment, observability, resiliency, and scalability. \nDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications \nLearns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems \nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation \nAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect \nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience \nDemonstrated and solid experience in C# and .NET technologies \nProficient in relational databases and SQL \nHands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, testing, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.\nExperienced with AWS services and cloud-native patterns for deployment, monitoring, and scalability \nHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability \nExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages \nExperience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle \nExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security \nUnderstanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.\nEmerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) \nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFamiliarity with modern front-end technologies \nExposure to cloud technologies \nThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
