contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.\n\nApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.\n\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience\n\nHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability\n\nHands-on practical experience in core Java across the Software Development Life Cycle, including system design, application development, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support.\n\nExperience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ, MSK...\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures.\n\nExperience with caching systems like Redis, GemFire, or Apache Ignite\n\nHands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.\n\nUnderstanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.\n\nExperience with distributed systems concepts and building services in patterns such as microservices and RESTful APIs.\n\nPractical understanding of DevOps toolchains, and agile, test-driven delivery.\n\nHands-on exposure to AWS cloud services and ecosystems\n\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nFamiliarity with modern front-end technologies (React)\n\nFamiliarity with trading systems;
