through evidence-based analysis.\nIndependently assesses the quality and accuracy of investigations, ensuring conclusions are technically sound, complete, defensible, and focused on long-term reliability outcomes.\nDrives a culture of blameless accountability by identifying systemic causes, resilience gaps, and opportunities to improve operational performance and engineering practices.\nCollaborates with engineering teams to evaluate observability, monitoring, telemetry, automation, and resilience capabilities and recommend reliability improvements for complex distributed systems.\nValidates that corrective actions address underlying causes and materially reduce the likelihood and impact of recurrence while driving closure and effectiveness reviews.\nProvides independent technical review and challenge of internal, vendor, and third-party investigation reports to ensure findings, recommendations, and risk assessments are comprehensive and actionable.\nUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate reliability design and operational decisioning (e.g., incident/post-incident analysis and requirements traceability), validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.\nDefines and promotes reliability engineering practices including Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), reliability metrics, and operational resilience standards.\nMakes significant contributions to JPMorganChase's site reliability and operational excellence communities through mentoring, governance forums, knowledge sharing, and engineering leadership.\nLeads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC/toolchain practices (e.g., testing/validation automation and production readiness), ensuring traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering.\nDemonstrated experience leading and facilitating major incident investigations, technical root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities in large-scale enterprise environments.\nAdvanced expertise across multiple technology domains including network, cloud, compute, middleware, database, storage, distributed systems, and enterprise monitoring platforms.\nStrong hands-on experience with observability and reliability practices, including SLO/SLI engineering, telemetry design, distributed tracing, alerting strategies, reliability metrics, and AIOps capabilities.\nDeep understanding of Problem Management, RCA methodologies, systemic failure analysis, event correlation, resilience engineering, and operational risk reduction.\nExperience operating within highly regulated, mission-critical environments with a focus on availability, resilience, and operational excellence.\nDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to improve reliability engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.\nAbility to set team practices for safe AI usage in operations (e.g., review/approval expectations and escalation paths) while maintaining resiliency, security, and auditability outcomes.\nStrong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, including the ability to challenge technical findings constructively and translate complex issues into executive-ready narratives.\nProven ability to mentor engineers, drive reliability culture adoption, and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills\nExperience infrastructure related reviewing and challenging vendor, third-party, and internal investigation reports.\nExpertise with tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Elastic, and
