We are looking for an experiencedBudget, Forecasting & Indirect Rates Manager to help drive financial planning and support our nation’s strategic defense and deterrence missions. In this high-impact role, you’ll take ownership of company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and indirect-rate management while partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen financial performance, ensure compliance, and support JRC’s continued growth.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the annual budget process, consolidate company-wide financial plans, update forecasts, and develop financial models to support business decisions.\n\nManage Unanet: Configure and maintain budgets, projects, organizations, labor structures, and related financial elements to support accurate budget execution.\n\nOversee Indirect Rates: Develop and monitor provisional billing rates, analyze variances, assess financial impacts, and recommend adjustments.\n\nSupport Compliance & Audits: Prepare the annual DCAA Incurred Cost Submission using the ICE model and support DCAA/DCMA audits, rate reviews, and negotiations.\n\nPartner on Business Growth: Collaborate with proposal and pricing teams to evaluate new opportunities, assess their impact on budgets and indirect rates, and ensure accuracy of pricing submissions..\n\nDrive Financial Accuracy: Monitor expenses, revenue forecasts, and budget changes while partnering with stakeholders to maintain accurate financial reporting and cost allocation.\n\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\n7+ years of progressive experience in budgeting, FP&A, cost accounting, or financial management.\n\n4+ years of experience supporting a federal government contractor.\n\nHands-on experience configuring and administering Unanet.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and managing indirect billing rates, including fringe, overhead, and G&A.\n\nExperience preparing DCAA Incurred Cost Submissions and using the ICE model.\n\nWorking knowledge of FAR Part 31, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and DCAA audit requirements.\n\nAdvanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and forecasting.\n\nStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and advise executive leadership.\n\nU.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance, if required.\n\n⭐ Bonus Points\nCPA, CMA, or CGFM certification.\n\nExperience with Navy or DoD contracts, including cost-plus, time-and-materials, and firm-fixed-price arrangements.\n\nExperience with Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs) and indirect-rate negotiations.\n\nExperience supporting organizational
